When building the house for his sister, Ludwig Wittgenstein designed the entire interior, including the doors and windows. The simple door handle that he designed for it must have been an individual solution. On one side of the door, the handle was used as a simple angle. On the opposite side, the fitting was cranked back.
Ludwig Wittgenstein was one of the most significant philosophers of the 20th century and the youngest child of one of Austria's most prominent industrial families at the turn of the century, who played an exceptionally influential role in Vienna's cultural life.
